UNTIL he says otherwise, Veejay Pre is still part of the green-and-gold.
That remains true, as the UAAP Season 87 Rookie of the Year is still included in the 20-man lineup of Far Eastern University in the upcoming Playtime Cares 18th Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup.
Pre's status in Morayta remains in doubt following his poaching saga that has now devolved into a family tug-of-war.

The Tamaraws are still holding out hope that Pre would stay put - one that they're clinging onto with the Floridablanca, Pampanga-born forward repeatedly stating his intentions to remain with the team.

But his inclusion in the roster really is a no-brainer.
Rules of the premier preseason league only allow players who are eligible to play in the upcoming season to be included in the 20-man lineup.
That means transferees and those serving their residency are barred from participating, unlike other preseason tournaments.
It also means that no team other than FEU can include Pre in their lineup, no less field him to play - if ever that transfer pushes through.
The Tams open their preseason campaign against University of the East on May 22.
The bigger mystery though is whether Pre would be able to suit up in the preseason tournament - a question that we all hope will be answered sooner rather than later.
