UNIVERSITY of Sto. Tomas and Ateneo led the winners of the Milcu Sports Basketball Summer Showcase age-group basketball tournament at the Trinity University of Asia gym.
Kobe Palencia had 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals as UST overcame Chiang Kai Shek College, 64-55, to rule the 16-under division.
Ateneo beat San Sebastian, 73-61, to claim the 14-under title.
Chiang Kai Shek College won the 13-under finals as the Blue Dragons defeated San Sebastian, 51-43.
De La Salle-Zobel edged Makati East, 63-62, to rule the 12-under division of the tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, sponsored by Milcu and Gamboa Sports, backed by Gatorade, LGR, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Basketball TV, and Gerry's Grill and also supported by Rain or Shine, Honda Cars Greenhills, FMR Bus Services, Coach Athletic Tape, Mighty Sports, Patricio's Online Sneaker Store, and Secret Fresh.
