Jerson Prado, David Murrell show way as UP Maroons rip MLQU Stallions

UNIVERSITY of the Philippines beat Manuel L. Quezon University, 75-60, on opening day of the Milcu Sports Basketball Got Skills Adidas Summer Showcase 25-under tournament at the Philippine Buddhacare Academy gym.

Jerson Prado had 15 points and nine rebounds and David Murrell finished with 14 points for the Maroons.

La Salle Greenhills defeated New Era University, 56-55, in the 17-under division.

Jesse Arciaga had 12 points, while Francis Lopez had 11 points for the Greenies.

In the 14-under division, Kleivz Fong had 18 points as Chiang Kai Shek College beat PACE Academy, 67-53.

Ethan Alian had 16 points in LSGH’s 62-35 win over La Salle Lipa.
