UST-FEU winner take all duel expected to be one of the biggest hits in UAAP history

GAME Three of UAAP Season 78 men’s basketball finals between University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University could yet go down as one the most watched championship finale in the long history of the league.

Tickets for the deciding game at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday were immediately sold out the moment it was made available over-the-counter and online at various SM Ticket booths on Monday.

Students, reportedly waited for hours starting in the early morning  just to be able to obtain tickets for the much-awaited encounter.

For those who can’t get tickets, learned that some even offered a seat at one of the suites at the upper section of the MoA at a staggering prize of P2,000, including food and drinks.

Of course, scalpers are expected to make a killing for the final game of the season set at 3:30 p.m.

The league has likewise been cashing in on the championship series. Although no exact figures were given, sketchy information reaching said the two finals series, including last year between National University and FEU, have been outdoing the recent games of Ateneo-La Salle in monetary terms.
