LA Salle star Jeron Teng crowned his collegiate career with his second UAAP championship after the Green Archers swept the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the Season 79 men’s basketball tournament finals on Wednesday.

Teng also came home with the Finals MVP trophy but a special prize awaited the graduating champ from his lady love.

As the Taft-based squad celebrated on center court after a 79-72 Game Two win over rival Ateneo, Teng went to the patron section to kiss and hug not only his mom Susan but also his girlfriend Jeanine Tsoi.

The former La Salle courtside reporter shared to her reward to the Season 79 Finals MVP.

" Love, wholehearted and genuine love and care," said Tsoi.

"Super proud ako sa kanya as long as he's happy, I'm super happy also," she added.

Tsoi, who was wearing a Teng jersey on top of white shirt, could not contain her happiness and felt like she's also a champion.

"I know how much he wanted this championship. This is what he aimed for the whole season so I'm super happy for him," she said.
