TROY Mallillin is no longer part of the La Salle team and is likely headed to University of Santo Tomas, Green Archers head coach Aldin Ayo confirmed.

Ayo said Mallillin left after the Green Archers’ game against Jose Rizal University in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup last Monday.

“I haven’t talked to him personally pero I think he left already,” said Ayo on Sunday.

Based on the information he is getting, Ayo said the NCAA Season 92 MVP will move to University of Santo Tomas.

“UST ata. I think he went to UST,” said Ayo.

A source confirmed Mallillin is already with UST and has already been joining practices with the team for a week already.

Mallillin was one of the first recruits of La Salle following Season 79 of the UAAP where the Green Archers won the title.

Mallillin averaged 19.9 points and 9.3 rebounds in his MVP-winning performance for La Salle Greenhills in 2016.
