Grateful Ricci Rivero bids La Salle Green Archers goodbye: 'Time to move forward'
Ricci Rivero is moving forward after announcing his exit from La Salle.

RICCI Rivero took to Twitter to officially bid farewell to La Salle on Thursday morning, confirming countless reports and rumors in the past months about his situation with the Green Archers.

The promising wingman posted a cryptic tweet late Wednesday evening, saying 'It's about time.'

A couple of hours later, Rivero finally cleared the air where in a short tweet, he expressed his gratitude to the team where he won a UAAP championship with in Season 79.

"All good things come to an end. Thank you to the La Sallian community for the support you've given me," said Rivero in his Twitter account @RicciRivero06

"The Animo spirit will always be with me. It's time to move forward."

Last February, news broke out about the departure of the younger Rivero alongside his brother Prince and Brent Paraiso from the team. The school shrugged it off as a temporary leave, citing the players' commitments with endorsements violate team policies.

Rivero then broke his silence by confirming La Salle's statement and saying that he's still attending classes at La Salle.

However, rumors of the three leaving never really died down, with talks of them being involved in drugs, which prompted Rivero to release a result of a drug test which he supposedly passed.

Paraiso, on the other hand, had contrasting results.

There's still no word as to whether Prince and Paraiso will follow suit.
