Jeron Teng is second straight La Salle Green Archer named UAAP Player of the Week

LA Salle continued its unbeaten run and the Archers get another UAAP Player of the Week citation, with Jeron Teng getting the award this time.

Teng, looking to finish his college career with another title, gets the vote of scribes covering the league after Cameroonian import Ben Mbala was given the award last week.

The Green Archers are the only undefeated team this season with four straight wins, its best start in the tournament in 13 years.

In those wins, Teng averaged 18 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

In a game dubbed as an early finals preview, Teng scored eight of his 23 points in the payoff period against the Bulldogs.

Teng beat Adamson’s Dawn Ochea and Rob Manalang and Far Eastern University’s Raymar Jose for the ACCEL Quantum/3XVI-UAAP Press Corps Player of the Week award.
