Scalpers make a killing anew as fans reportedly offer to pay up to P8000 for a ticket to La Salle-Ateneo title decider

SCALPERS are again making a killing on UAAP finals tickets, with street resellers saying several fans have agreed to pay as much as P8,000 for a seat on the patrons’ row for the La Salle-Ateneo Game Three on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

The original price for a patron ticket is P450, but fans are willing to pay much more.

One ticket seller on street noted that as soon as it was announced tickets were available, patron and lower box sections were sold out.

“Sa ganitong panahon nahihirapan din kami makakuha kasi ‘yung mayayaman na alumni ang dami na agad kinukuha,” he said.
