Kib Montalbo says he has forgiven Ron Dennison for punch in Davao game

KIB Montalbo said he has forgiven Ron Dennison following the melee that involved the two players in a La Salle-Far Eastern University game in a Davao City pocket tournament.

"He is just a player, kapwa Bisaya ko rin," said Montalbo, adding he has spoken with Dennison after their UAAP opening game on Sunday.

In the Davao fracas, Dennison, who had earlier been ejected, managed to get back into the court and wound up hitting Montalbo.

"I forgive him. If he punched me, then wala na ako pakialam doon. What is done is done," said Montalbo.

Montalbo also said La Salle treated the game as if it was just an ordinary match.

"We forgot about it na," said Montalbo about the Davao game.
