Kib Montalbo auctions off game-worn shoes for Olympian Ian Lariba

LA Salle guard Kib Montalbo is auctioning off his UAAP Season 79 championship shoes to raise funds for Ian Lariba, the Olympic table tennis player who is battling leukemia.

Montalbo announced on his social media accounts that proceeds from the sale of the personalized Nike Hyperdunk 2016 will all go to Lariba, who was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

The starting bid is at P10,000 and the auction will end on June 9 at 11:59 p.m.

Montalbo and the Green Archers won the UAAP Season 79 basketball crown, while Lariba bagged the season Most Valuable Player title in table tennis for La Salle.

Lariba in 2016 became the first Filipina to make it to the Olympics.
