Jason Perkins shows up at Archers practice, but still undecided on PBA Draft
The Green Archers are still hoping Jason Perkins would rejoin them for UAAP Season 79. Jerome Ascano

JASON Perkins showed up for practice at La Salle but made it clear he has yet to decide on whether to return to the Green Archers.

Perkins confirmed he went to La Salle on Monday as the Archers had a training session with American skills coach Ganon Baker.  He said he will decide this week on whether to stay or play full time in the PBA D-League and pursue the PBA draft this year.

“I was checking it out and saying Hi to my guys,” said Perkins. “I’ll know for sure what I’m going to (decide) by this week,” Perkins said in an SMS message.

La Salle management has made it clear, Spin.ph was told, that they still want Perkins back for next season.

A decision to stay with La Salle would mean that Perkins will skip the PBA draft, to be held perhaps in August, since the UAAP Season 79 will begin in September.

Perkins will be eligible to enter the PBA draft if he plays in the coming Foundation Cup since he already played for Caida Tiles last conference.
