UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas team captain Marvin Lee remained upbeat despite suffering the biggest loss of UAAP Season 80 so far to send the Growling Tigers on their worst start in the Final Four era.

Things have gone downhill for the Tigers, who have dropped all their six games, the latest of which a 115-86 beating at the hands of La Salle on Saturday.

But that's not about to dampen Lee's spirit as he remained hopeful the UST team will get its act together to barge into the win column.

"Since pumasok akong UST ngayon ko lang to na experience," he said shorlty after the loss to the Archers at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"Sabi ko sa teammates ko, wag nila isipin na 0-6 kami," he added. "Magiging experience natin yan, move on tayo, practice tayo, gawin natin best natin next game."

Wounded and all, the Tigers can still end the first round of eliminations with a victory as their next opponent is fellow cellar-dweller University of the East.

While he believes that it won't be an easy task as well for the Tigers, the spitfire guard likes their chances.

"Pagtratrabahuhan namin para makuha namin yung panalo," he said.
