UNIVERITY of Sto. Tomas fell two sets behind an inspired National University side, but Sisi Rondina could not be shaken.

Rondina scored 22 points, all coming from spikes, as the Golden Tigresses pulled off a five-set victory over the Lady Bulldogs on Saturday to formalize their entry to the UAAP Women's Volleyball tournament semifinals.

Rondina said that there was no way she was going to allow the Lady Bulldogs spoil the Tigresses’ return to the Final Four after four straight years of early exits.

It starts with yourself e.

Rondina felt she needed to carry the Tigresses on her shoulders when EJ Laure sprained her ankle, with UST ahead just by one, 13-12.

The pride of Compostela town in Cebu instructed setter Alex Cabanos to ease the load off Laure.

Rondina scored the a missile of a hit to put UST at match point before Dimdim Pacres sealed the win with a long hit.
