Arvin Tolentino also set to move to FEU after being dropped by Ateneo
Arvin Tolentino and Hubert Cani gear up for FEU with athletic coordinator Bert Flores, although the two will have to sit out this season before being able to suit up for the Tamaraws in the UAAP.

FORMER UAAP Rookie of the Year Arvin Tolentino has also transferred from Ateneo to Far Eastern University, a source told

Tolentino was dropped by Ateneo following his second season with the Blue Eagles after he failed to make the grade requirements of the school.

A former member of the multi-titled San Beda Red Cubs high school basketball team, Tolentino had a promising first season with the Blue Eagles but had an inconsistent sophomore year with Ateneo.

Tolentino joins Hubert Cani, who also transferred from Ateneo to FEU and has enrolled on Wednesday.

Calls to FEU officials were not answered as of posting time.

FEU athletic director Mark Molina said that they are still checking the documents of Tolentino and Cani.

"Nothing official yet," said Molina in an SMS message. "We are happy both Arvin and Hubert chose FEU. We will meet with them and check their transfer documents so we can make it official."
