ARNOLD Van Opstal is expected to suit up for De La Salle on Sunday against Ateneo in their UAAP Season 77 men’s basketball encounter at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

La Salle coach Juno Sauler said all his players except for point guard Thomas Torres will be ready to play for the Green Archers against the Blue Eagles.

That includes Van Opstal, who missed La Salle’s last three games due to a knee injury.

“Everyone is ready except Thomas,” said Sauler.

Van Opstal is averaging 7.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists this season.

At the end of their first round campaign, Sauler said the Green Archers only had nine healthy players in the lineup following injuries to Van Opstal, Thomas Torres, Norbert Torres, Kib Montalbo, and Terrence Mustre.

Thomas Torres is still not in game shape although he has been walking without crutches and only a protective gear in his right foot.
