AARON Black will sit out the next few weeks and miss an undetermined number of games for Ateneo in the UAAP Season 79 seniors basketball beginning on Saturday against Adamson due to a foot injury.

Ateneo team manager Epok Quimpo was mum on details of Black’s injury, after the Blue Eagles guard hurt his left foot in the first period of their match against the FEU Tamaraws on Wednesday and had X-rays on it right after the game.

All Quimpo disclosed was that the son of multi-titled coach Norman Black will not play against the Falcons and will be sidelined for a significant period of time.

“He will not play tomorrow (Saturday) and will be out for a couple of weeks” said Quimpo.

Black had an impressive season debut for the Blue Eagles where he had 23 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three blocks against University of Santo Tomas. But he was limited to four points in Ateneo’s loss to National University, before ending up with only two points in two minutes of play against FEU.
