JOSE Rizal University coach Vergel Meneses was visibly upset with his team on Friday, storming out of the dugout after the Heavy Bombers fell to the bottom of the standings in Season 92 of the NCAA basketball tournament.

Meneses left in a huff after the talking to his players following the Heavy Bombers' 50-58 loss to Perpetual Help, upset that his team didn't put up a fight against the Altas.

Meneses also issued a short statement to a few reporters waiting outside the dugout.

"Lagay niyo sa headline, attitude. Walang pride mga players," said Meneses before excusing himself.

Tey Teodoro was the lone player who scored in double figures for JRU with 24 points, but his effort couldn't propel JRU to the win. He already has 19 points in the first half but lacked support from his teammates.

A semifinalist last season, JRU stumbled to a 0-2 start, joining Lyceum at the cellar.
