La Salle Greenies gunner Troy Mallillin captures NCAA juniors MVP award for Season 92

TROY Mallillin of La Salle Greenhills was named the NCAA juniors MVP for Season 92.

Mallillin, who accumulated 48.11 player all-around value (PAV) this season, averaged 19.9 points and 9.3 rebounds during the elimination round for the Greenies en route to becoming the first LSGH player to win the MVP award since Prince Rivero in 2013.

Mallillin also joined Sam Abu Hijle of San Beda, Guilmer Dela Torre of Arellano, Joshua Tagala of San Beda, and Aaron Fermin of Arellano as the members of this season's Mythical Five.

Fermin captured the Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year trophies, while Tagala bagged the Most Improved Player honors.
