SAN Beda coasted to victory over Lyceum, 89-73, to clinch the first Final Four berth and regain the lead in NCAA Season 92 on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
AC Soberano and Arnaud Noah proved to be a deadly one-two punch for the Red Lions in their wire-to-wire win over the Pirates. Soberano had 17 points, going a perfect 6-of-6 from the field including five triples, while Noah scored 20 of his team-high 22 markers in the second half to go with seven rebounds.
Davon Potts also contributed 19 points, 16 in the first half, for a San Beda team that overtook Arellano, who as of posting time was playing against Letran, with a 12-4 record, and became the first team to seal a spot in the Final Four.
Reymar Caduyac led Lyceum with a career-high 27 points, while MJ Ayaay added 17, 15 from the third quarter alone. The Pirates, though, went down with a 5-12 win-loss slate.
