DESPITE a disappointing season, Letran's graduating players McJour Luib and Jom Sollano said they are satisfied with their collegiate career that was highlighted by a championship last year.

Letran missed out on the Final Four, settling for fifth place with a 9-9 win-loss record in a season where the departure of former stars Mark Cruz and Kevin Racal was exremely felt.

"Oo sobra (satisfied)," said Luib in the aftermath of the Knights' overtime 93-87 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College in their final game of the tournament.

"Although di ko ginusto na ganito mangyari ngayon, at least I did my part. I served the school and ginawa ko lahat. Wala naman akong regrets," he added.

Sollano shared the same sentiments, but wished he could have played more years with Letran.

"Satisfied naman ako pero medyo bitin kasi nakaka-miss maglaro sa Letran, makalaro ang teammates ko," said the big man, who suited up for the Knights for two years.

"Binigay ko naman lahat pero siguro may kulang," added Sollano.

Both cagers said they have no regrets, knowing they made the most out of their collegiate stint.

"Ginawa ko ang best ko para masabi ko sa sarili ko na matapos man ang taon, wala akong regrets," Sollano said.

    But what's next for them?

"Siguro papa-draft ako ngayon sa PBA. Didiretsuhin ko na kasi ganun din naman. Yun ang next step ko," said Luib, who was instrumental in Letran's title-conquest last season.

Sollano, though, said he plans to further hone his skills in the PBA D-League before thinking of turning pro.

"Sa ngayon, D-League muna. Feel ko kulang pa. Papahinog pa ako ng konti," he said.
