EMILIO Aguinaldo College still has a shot at making the Final Four of the NCAA Season 92 men's basketball tournament, especially after a thrilling win over Lyceum on Friday.

But even with the slim possibility, it seems coach Ariel Sison is surprisingly ready to raise the white flag.

"Wala na siguro (pag-asa makapasok sa final four)," he said after the Generals improved to 5-9 after a 73-66 win over the Pirates.

For Sison, though, missing out on the Final Four does not necessarily make their season a failure. In fact, the Generals have already accomplished one of their missions for the year, as they are already three wins ahead of their target.

"We're looking now to improve our standings from last year. That's the most important for us now," he said.

"It's already difficult on our side na. Kung hindi man (umabot sa Final Four), importante eh more wins for us," he added.

"I told them whatever is the outcome, just do your best. Most important e yung composure andun na. Yung character namin natatag na. It's a good sign for me," said Sison.
