SAN Beda goes for a share of the lead as it takes on San Sebastian on Thursday in the NCAA Season 91 seniors basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

The Red Lions look to extend their winning streak to five and join idle Letran, which holds a 7-1 win-loss record, on top of the standigs.

The match starts at 4 p.m.

San Beda on a run of five straight NCAA titles, suffered its only loss of the tournament to Letran, 80-93, on July 16.

The Lions now look to move alongside the Knights, who recently bowed to lowly Emilio Aguinaldo College, 69-83.

San Beda is heavily favored over the Stags, who have a 2-6 win-loss record along with EAC and St. Benilde.

“That Letran loss was a learning experience for us. We just try to come out aggressive each game after that loss,” said San Beda head coach Jamike Jarin.
