BRITT Carlo Reroma has resigned as head coach of the NCAA juniors champions San Beda Red Cubs, citing “personal reasons.”
It wa unclear when he officially relinquished the post, but Reroma said he will take a break from coaching after steering a rookie-laden Red Cubs squad to the championship last season - his third title in four years.
“I’m going back to Cebu and magpapahinga lang muna ako,” Reroma said.
Reroma, a product of Don Bosco in Cebu, was discovered by legendary head coach Ato Badolato when he was just 13 years old.
He suited up for the Red Lions before eventually getting the job as Red Cubs coach.
“I’ll just weigh my options first before deciding on what to do next. For now, pahinga lang muna,” said Reroma.
