Akhuetie had a 44-point game against the Blazers last season but said he is focused on getting a victory in the 4 p.m. game than piling up stats.

"I just want my team to win, whether I score or not," said said the 19-year-old Nigerian.

Victory will give Perpetual a share of third with idle Letran and coach Gimwell Gican is urging the Altas to work hard on both ends.

“We need to improve on our defense each game and be better as a team," said Gican.

Arellano also looks to join Letran at No. 3 as it faces off with Emilio Aguinaldo College, which owns a 1-4 win-loss slate, at 12 p.m.
