PERPETUAL Help has simplified its coaching set-up, appointing Jimwell Gican as head coach and Nosa Omorogbe as consultant for the Altas in Season 92.
The announcement was made during the NCAA Season 92 press conference on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Altas initially had a troika of head coaches in the preseason tournament, with school owner Antonio Tamayo, lawyer Barry Neil Tobias, and Omorogbe replacing Aric Del Rosario during the offseason, before finally picking Gican as the lone mentor.
It will be Gican's second tour of duty with the Altas as he first took over the squad during the 2011 season before Del Rosario stepped in the next year. The former Las Pinas College player and coach returned to Perpetual Help initially as an assistant coach to help Omorogbe, his former Cameroonian player, with the Altas.
