NIKOLO Cabiltes of University of Perpetual Help and Raymund Pascua of Emilio Aguinaldo College were ejected from the two teams' NCAA Season 91 game on Tuesday following an on-court altercation.
So what they did was take their fight outside the arena.
Cabiltes and Pascua face stiff punishment from the college league after exchanging punches outside The Arena in San Juan, shortly after the Altas beat the Generals, 89-59, in a league game.
According to accounts from witnesses, Cabiltes and Pascua exchanged punches before cooler heads intervened. Two other players were seen in the middle of the melee but their culpability is still being determined.
One of them was identified by witnesses as EAC's Sidney Onwubere, who, one witness claimed, joined Pascua to attack Cabiltes.
Prior to the incident, Cabiltes and Pascua's teammate Enjenrico Diego were ejected with just 1:38 left in the game for fighting. Pascua was also sent off for joining the altercation.
NCAA commissioner Bai Cristobal said he is still investigating the incident, which ironically came exactly a year after the free-for-all among EAC and Mapua players that is widely believed to be one of the worst brawls in league history.

That bench-clearing brawl led to the suspension of 17 players and three referees.
