THE NCAA has handed an additional two-game suspension on Perpetual Help’s Niko Cabiltes and Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Raymond Pascua on Thursday for their involvement in a parking lot brawl outside The Arena in San Juan.
Cabiltes and Pascua were earlier slapped automatic one-game suspensions for the on-fight during the Altas-Generals match on Tuesday - an altercation that spilled over into the stadium's parking lot.
After NCAA officials looked into the post-fight brawl, the league announced on Thursday Perpetual Help’s Nestor Bantayan is also being banned for two games.
Also suspended for one game was Sidney Onwubere of EAC, while G-Jay Ylagan and Flash Sadiwa were given a stern warning by the league.
Cabiltes will now sit out three games starting with the Altas’ important match on Friday against Jose Rizal University.
Onwubere’s suspension will take effect immediately, meaning he will not suit up for the Generals against Lyceum later on Thursday.
