ARELLANO whipped San Beda, 25-10, 25-10, 25-18, on Thursday to take a share of the top spot in the NCAA volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Danna Henson and Cristine Rosario combined for 25 points for the Lady Chiefs, who needed only 54 minutes to finish the match.
Arellano now holds a 3-0 card for a share of lead with three-time champion University of Perpetual Help.
The Legarda-based Lady Chiefs dominated the net with 10 blocks against none by San Beda and hit more service aces, 7-3.
Debbie Dultra scored six points for the Red Lionesses, who remained winless in three outings.
