SAN Beda slotman Ben Adamos vowed to bring his A-game against a taller, bigger, stronger Perpetual frontcourt in the NCAA Season 92 basketball tournament Final Four on Friday.

The 2 p.m. match at the Mall of Asia Arena will see the 6-foot-5Adamos go up against Altas' frontcourt bannered by 6-foot-8 Nigerian Bright Akhuetie, who is returning from a one-game suspension, and 6-foot-11 Prinz Eze.

Adamos, who is quickly emerging as a reliable center for the twice-to-beat Red Lions in the absence of injured import Donald Tankoua, shone in San Beda's 80-73 win over Arellano in the playoff for the top spot last Tuesday.

He finished with 14 points, including six straight to open the fourth quarter of the aforementioned match that allowed the Red Lions to put away the Chiefs for good. He also threw his weight around, collaring six rebounds and imposing his size inside the paint with four blocks.

With his impressive showing, the Albay native is expected to take the same major role anew and he is more than ready to prove his mettle.

"China-challenge ko sarili ko kay Bright. Halos lahat ng nakakatapat ko imports. As a Pinoy, nararamdaman kong mas lalo akong lumalaban kasi imports nga kalaban ko," he said.

But Adamos knows it won't be an easy task, adding Friday's tussle will be a bloody encounter.

"Lahat naman tayo nakikita natin na magaling ang Perpetual. Nakakatulong din sa kanila yung crowd. Itong Final Four magiging madugong labanan," said Adamos.
