Typhoon 'Glenda' forces cancellation of NCAA basketball games

Jul 15, 2014

THE NCAA has postponed its basketball games on Wednesday as a precaution as Manila braces for typhoon 'Glenda.'

The management committee announced the development on Tuesday night.

The playdate would’ve pitted the men’s and juniors’ division squads of University of Perpetual Help and College of St. Benilde, and the other between San Sebastian and Emilio Aguinaldo College.

The Altas would’ve played for a fourth straight victory and a share of the lead, while the Blazers seek a breakthrough win in four matches.

For their part, the Stags would’ve sought for a fourth in five games against the Generals, who are looking to get to an even 2-2 win-loss card.
