THE NCAA is joining the sports organizations doing their part to help victims of super Typhoon Yolanda.
The country’s oldest collegiate league is donating P100,000 for relief efforts to the affected families, especially in the Visayas region, ravaged by one of the strongest tropical storms that has hit the Philippines.
The league, currently holding the basketball Finals in the men's and juniors' division, said the donation will go to the Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc. under TV5.
The PBA on Monday offered P1,000,000, while supporters of the Philippine Azkals have organized a fundraising activity on Friday at Mercato, Bonfiacio Global City.
Even the NBA and its players association have reached out, pledging a combined $500,000.
