THE NCAA Season 91 Final will push through as scheduled on Tuesday.
League officials said the semifinals involving top seeded teams San Beda and Letran along with bottom teams Mapua and Jose Rizal University is definitely a go at the Mall of Asia Arena since Metro Manila is no longer under any storm warning on Monday.
Games of the UAAP, V-League, and even the opening of the PBA 41st season scheduled over the weekend were all called off as the country bore the brunt of Typhoon Lando.
But with the weather finally improving, NCAA executives have given the go signal to play the Final Four as scheduled.
The semis pairings will have no. 2 seed Letran facing no. 3 Mapua at 2 p.m. while five-time champion and top seed San Beda takes on fourth seed Jose Rizal University at 4 p.m. Both the Knights and Red Lions carry twice-to-beat advantage.
Meanwhile, the stepladder phase in the juniors competition will also push through with Mapua taking on Arellano in a knockout match to determine unbeaten defending champion San Beda’s opponent in the finals.
