DUE to floods and the bad weather, the NCAA decided to cancel the scheduled men’s basketball games today at The Arena in San Juan.
Dax Castellano of St. Benilde, the NCAA ManCom chairman, announced the decision early Monday morning after continuous rain battered the metropolis.
“The NCAA has decided to cancel the basketball games today due to floods and bad weather,” said Castellano in a statement. “Also, the safety of the athletes and students is of utmost important to the association.”
San Sebastian was scheduled to play St. Benilde in Monday’s main game, while Arellano and Jose Rizal University battle each other in the curtain raiser at 2 p.m.
