The NCAA announced Saturday’s featured men's basketball games at The Arena in San Juan will be postponed due to heavy rains caused by tropical depression Ferdie.
According to Management Committee chairman Fr. Vic Calvo, the seniors’ games between Arellano and Mapua at 4 p.m., and rival schools San Beda and Letran at 6 o’clock had been cancelled owing to inclement weather.
Also called off were the games in the juniors division pitting the same four teams.
Calvo said the league has yet to decide the date on which the cancelled matches will be played.
The country’s oldest collegiate league has yet to decide a new date of the said games.
