JOSAN Nimes, who has been out of the Mapua squad for two years, is back on the Mapua Cardinals roster for NCAA Season 91.
The 2011 NCAA Rookie of the Year, left out of the Cardinals lineup right before Season 90, bared he sustained a season-ending injury at the time but he has recovered and ready to play.
“I had some work done on my knee about two weeks before the opening and had to rehab it for five months,” said Nimes, who had already skipped the 2013 tournament before suffering the injury.

Nimes’ return is expected to give the Cardinals a lift after finishing at the bottom of the standings last year along with Emilio Aguinaldo College with 4-14 win-loss cards.
Nimes said he feels like starting over after the long break.
“I’m very excited especially that we are the host this year. I’ve been waiting almost two years now. I’ll be fresh and healthy. It’s like I’m a rookie again,” said Nimes.
