WITH its playoff chances dimming, titleholder Letran is shifting focus on ending the season on a high note.
At 8-8, the Knights are now a bit of a long shot to make the semifinals of the NCAA Season 92 basketball tournament.
To make a return trip to the Fina Four, Letran has to win its next two games and hope that Mapua (9-5) and Jose Rizal University (9-7) drop their remaining assignments.
Given the situation they are in, Napa said their goal now is just to "become better."
"Iniisip na lang namin how to improve pa e, lalo pa kung sino pa ang maiiwan," said Napa.
The Knights battle the Cardinals at 4 p.m.
"This year I didn't get a full season para mahawakan yung team. Hopefully, mabago namin yung mga pagkakamali namin next season."
"Hindi naman rebuilding pero it so happened na eto na yung nadatnan ko. Kung baga ginawan ko lang ng paraan. Next year it will be a different story, mabago namin ang first season namin."
Napa, who replaced Aldin Ayo at the helm, is taking full responsibility.
"Definitely a lot of frustration. Eto yung hindi ko ine-expect e. I don't want to point fingers and I'm taking full responsibility with what happened," he said.
"Sa remaining two games, ang approach namin is to become better and we'll see what happens next."
