National U's Jack Danielle Animam wins UAAP women's basketball MVP award

JACK Danielle Animam of National University has officially won the UAAP Season 80 Most Valuable Player award in the women’s division.

Animam, a member of the national women’s basketball team, amassed 77.29 statistical points to win her first UAAP MVP plum.

It’s the fourth straight season an NU player won the MVP award in the women’s division with Afril Bernardino taking the previous three titles.

Animam is also part of the Mythical Five along with Rhena Itesi of NU, Misaela Aurea Larosa of University of Sto. Tomas, Love Joy Sto. Domingo of University of the East and Ria Joy Nabalan of NU.

Marian Justine Domingo of University of the Philippines won Rookie of the Year honors.
