GAB Dagangon declared his intent to return to Perpetual for his final playing year next season as he eyes to complete the Altas’ unfinished business in NCAA Season 92.

Dagangon and the rest of the Altas failed to end their finals drought after being eliminated by the San Beda Red Lions in their do-or-die semis match, 78-63, on Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Soon as the game and the season ended for the Altas, Dagangon was already looking ahead to one last run next year, itching for payback.

"Babalik talaga ako, tatapusin ko talaga," said Dagangon.

"Siyempre malungkot, pero ganyan talaga yung basketball eh. Heads up, bawi next year," he added.

Daganon scored 16 points, including seven in the fourth quarter to keep his team alive, but rued his teammates appeared to have given up despite his effort to keep them afloat.

"Hindi pa ako sumusuko eh, yun lang iniisip ko. Hindi ako sumusuko kahit na lamang sila, hindi ako sumuko,"  he said.

"Pero yung nga iba kong kasama parang sumuko na. Wala talaga tayong magagawa kung ako na lang mag-isa. Sumuko yung iba tapos ako... hindi talaga kaya, kailangan team talaga. Team effort," added Dagangon.

Reduced into a spectator in the upcoming finals between San Beda and Arellano, Dagangon hopes that their final game of Season 92 will serve as a lesson his team can apply next year.

"Sana matuto yung mga kasama ko. Bawat isa sa amin kung ano nangyari ngayon sana may matutunan this year para next year hindi na maulit uli," said a frustrated Dagangon.
