EMILIO Aguinaldo College stopped the bleeding with a 63-60 victory over Jose Rizal University on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 92 basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Generals snapped their three-game skid and improved their win-loss record to 4-9, while ending the Heavy Bombers’ four-match winning run.

JRU put the match under protest over what the Bombers believe was a foul on Teytey Teodoro at the buzzer. The referees ruled following a video review that the foul came after the buzzer.

Jordan de la Paz of JRU signed the scoresheet to formally put the game under protest.

The Heavy Bombers slipped to 7-6.

The Generals led by as many as 17 points in the match but the Heavy Bombers were able to tie the game at 60 with 46.1 seconds to play.

EAC’s Hamadou Lamimou hit the go-ahead jumper with 38.1 seconds to play.
