NATIONAL University coach Eric Altamirano and former San Beda mentor Frankie Lim have been inducted in the San Beda College Sports Hall of Fame.
Altamirano and Lim will be joined by football players Rene Tady and the late Joaquin Presyler as the school holds its best of 2015 event organized by the San Beda College Alumni Association.
A former San Beda Red Cub in the 1980s before moving to University of the Philippines in college, Altamirano recently steered NU to the 2014 UAAP men’s basketball crown, ending the school’s 60-year title drought.
Lim, currently an assistant coach of Barangay Ginebra, played for the Red Lions in college and led the school to the first two of the team’s five straight championship in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
The induction rites is set on February 12.
