IT seems it’s not only the players of Emilio Aguinaldo College have a beef with team management.
Spin.ph on Saturday learned from a source close to the team that some members of the Generals’ coaching staff are also at odds with management, composed of team manager Estifanio Boquiron and management committee representative Marlon Carlos.
Some in head coach Gerry Esplana’s staff, composed of assistants Andy de Guzman, Mark Mañosca, Ernie Laurel, and Ernesto Machado, have also aired their displeasure over how management has been performing, so much so that they have asked them to step down from their posts.
“Coaches from other events, too, are asking for their resignation sa sports,” said the source, who requested not to be named.
The same source said EAC president Dr. Jose Paulo Campos is set to call a meeting with the whole team next week to sort out the matter.
Asked for a reaction, Carlos told Spin.ph management will release a statement on Monday when EAC faces Mapua at The Arena in San Juan.
Earlier, team skipper John Tayongtong aired his qualms, on behalf of his teammates, after revealing they failed to receive food and beverage supply for two months starting last June.
