CJ ISIT said having experienced playing without Allwell Oraeme will help the team in the long run for Mapua’s campaign in Season 92 of the NCAA.
The Cardinals were without their main gunner Oraeme, who had the flu, but they still went on to win a nail-biter over Emilio Aguinaldo College on Friday.
“It’s a good experience for the team especially this early on in the season,” said Isit.

The Cardinals got a big boost from big men Almel Orquina and Justin Serrano.
Orquina had 13 points against EAC, while Serrano dominated the boards with 11 rebounds.
“I guess his absence was kinda a blessing in disguise. It gave our other bigs opportunities and experience,” he added.
Arquina agreed it was a good learning experience playing without the import.
“Kailangan namin magstep-up at mag-adjust kasi wala si Allwell,” Orquina said.
