    Altas stretch streak to four with big win over Generals behind Bright Akhuetie double-double

    PERPETUAL Help notched its fourth consecutive victory, downing Emilio Aguinaldo College, 70-53, on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 92 seniors basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

    The Altas raised their win-loss record to 6-2 with one game left in the first round.

    Bright Akhuetie led the way for the Altas with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks.

    “May mga lapses pa rin kami pero defense ’yung nagdadala sa amin,” said Perpetual Help coach Jimwell Gican in describing their winning streak.

    Jorem Morada had 15 points, while Hamadou Laminou added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Generals, who fell to 2-6.

    The Generals never led in the game as they shot 22.54 percent from the field, a season-low in the league.
