OUTGOING National University coach Aris Dimaunahan expressed gratitude for his time leading the charge for the Lady Bulldogs as he turns his attention back to Blackwater.

The eight-year PBA veteran penned a heartfelt message to his wards as he bids Jhocson goodbye on Wednesday.

"The unbreakable bond and the relationship I had with all the players I coached and with the coaching staff I worked with will be the most important things I will carry and bring along with me," he said.

"I will be forever grateful for all the moments we shared, the battles we’ve won not only in the court but more so outside of the hardwood will be kept in my heart and would stay in my mind. Thank you to all my players for letting me coach you the way I coached you."

Dimaunahan stepped down from his post a little over a month before the UAAP Season 88 women's basketball tournament, shifting his attention back to the PBA.

He leaves with a UAAP crown under his belt after two seasons at the helm, reclaiming the throne last Season 87.

Replacing him is longtime deputy DA Olan who will inherit a potent Lady Bulldogs squad still bannered by senior Angel Surada and promising stars in Cielo Pagdulagan, Kristine Cayabyab, and Karl Ann Pingol.

Before the move, Dimaunahan was honored with the Collegiate Press Corps UAAP Women's Basketball Coach of the Year award.

Still, Dimaunahan is expected to remain as a consultant for NU, helping Olan's staff which still includes Julie Amos, Paul Du, and Cams Escoto.

The team also paid tribute to Dimaunahan, writing:

"From the huddles to the hardcourt, you’ve been a pillar of strength and inspiration for the NU Lady Bulldogs. From your years as assistant coach to leading us as head coach, your passion, discipline, and heart have shaped champions — not just in games, but in life."

"You’ve been there in our battles, celebrated our victories, and stood tall in every challenge. Your legacy will forever be part of our story, and the lessons you’ve taught will live on in every Lady Bulldog who takes the court."
