Arellano Braves, San Beda Red Cubs dispatch separate foes to stay on top of NCAA juniors

ARELLANO and San Beda stayed in front of the NCAA Season 92 juniors basketball after beating separate rivals on Thursday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Guilmer Dela Torre finished with 27 points as the Braves defeated San Sebastian, 78-65, to improve their record to 10-1.

Ry Dela Rosa led four San Beda players in double digits as the Red Cubs downed Jose Rizal University, 86-63, to also tote a similar 10-1 win-loss slate.

The Braves and the Red Cubs are in a tie for first place early in the second round, followed by idle Mapua with an 8-2 win-loss slate.
