ARELLANO defeated Mapua, 85-79, on Tuesday at the MOA Arena to reach the finals of the NCAA Season 91 juniors basketball tournament.
Guilmer de la Torre and Lars Sunga spearheaded Arellano in the fourth period that saw the Braves outscore the Red Robins, 26-14, in the knockout match for a finals spot.
De la Torre and Sunga scored 23 points each, combining for 16 in the fourth period to stun the second-ranked Red Robins in the stepladder phase.
