In the first game, La Salle bucked its slow start and delivered a huge finishing kick for a 66-64 victory over Adamson.
Camille Claro anchored the Lady Archers with 16 points and three rebounds to keep them in contention for the semifinals.
Lauryn Delcampo added 14 points, four steals, three boards and three assists, while Kat Nunez got 10 points, three rebounds and three assists.
La Salle was quick to recover from a disastrous start where it was held to just four points, chipping away Adamson's lead and exploding for 25 in the payoff period.
It was a sorry defeat for the Lady Falcons, who got a huge 33-point and 21-rebound performance from top gun Nathalia Prado.
