COLLEGIATE games for Sunday have been suspended due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Uwan.
Both the UAAP and the NCAA have chosen to err on the side of caution as Metro Manila braces for this weather disturbance.
It was supposed to be a rivalry day in the UAAP Seaaon 88 men's basketball tournament at Smart Araneta Coliseum with Ateneo and La Salle facing off after the game between University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern U.
Meanwhile, the NCAA Season 101 seniors basketball tournament was supposed to be staged at the SM Mall of Asia Arena which would have seen Arellano take on Perpetual and St. Benilde colliding with Emilio Aguinaldo College.
These games will be rescheduled at a later date.
