DESPITE a partial ACL tear on his left knee, Zavier Lucero took part in the UP Maroons' shootaround before do-or-die Game 3 of the UAAP Season 85 Finals against Ateneo on Monday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Lucero, a Mythical Five member in Season 84, suffered the knee during the fourth quarter of Game Two, which the Maroons lost, 66-56, last Wednesday and was stricken off the UP lineup for the title decider.

The starting forward still showed up at the Big Dome to support his team and even participated in the warm-up.
In return, the Fighting Maroons faithful paid homage to their high-leaping forward by wearing warm-up shirts bearing his sobriquet in front and his jersey number on the back.
